How to Participate
Perks: Fun, bragging rights, a place in the record book, and a chance to win an official Guinness Certificate of Participation*
Register today to participate in an all Canadian Guinness World Records™ attempt!
On Wednesday, July 1st, 2020, be part of a Canada-wide attempt to set a brand new Guinness World Records™ title of: “Largest Group Drum Roll (Multiple Venues)”. The minimum required is 1,683 individual drummers: Of course, we want a much larger margin than that to set and maintain a new world record.
The Guinness World Records™ attempt will be broadcasted live across the participating Canadian cities and on social media platforms around the world. See event details of participating cities.
We’re looking for diverse dedicated drummers to partake in this challenge. We need your support!
NO DRUMMING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. BUT you must be available to attend at least one practice session and to prove your participation on July 1st, 2020. Pre-registration by midnight, June 28th is necessary.
You may participate either as an Individual or as part of a Group (the minimum Group size is no less than 15 individuals – each member of the Group will be personally counted in the total number of drummers).
This is a large scale exciting initiative to celebrate Canada Day with the chance of setting a new Guinness World Records™. Be a part of it!
Please direct any questions to email@example.com.
Certificate of Participation*
In addition to other perks, your participation either as an Individual or as a Group entitles you to a CHANCE TO WIN a CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION, issued by Guinness World Records™ in your Individual name or in your Group name. This Certificate is valued at CAD35 and will be awarded conditional upon the world record attempt being achieved. As we anticipate strong participation, the organizers will award only 200 of the valuable Certificate of Participation to all registrants drawn on a LOTTERY BASIS with the following limits: 200 Certificates will be drawn for registrants.
* The exact distribution of the certificates is at the discretion of the organizer, The Legacy 150 Celebrations Society. The decision of the organizer is final.
